PRESENTATION OF RONALD B. KAHN HEADPIECE

On the occasion of the Opening of the Haus für Mozart in Salzburg in 2010, the commissioned portrait bust of the great donor Donald B. Kahn was presented. He was one of the first patrons of the Salzburger Festpiele. One can say without exaggeration that the decision to build the Haus für Mozart could not have been made without him. His 5 million Euro donation was a real “injection of courage” for those involved in the project. The press picture has kindly been provided by the Salzburger Festspiele Press archive.
