As written in the Opening booklet:
"The bronze bust of Rudolf Buchbinder was commissioned by Tassilo Metternich-Sándor in connection with the planned construction of the Rudolf Buchbinder Hall and was completed in 2024. The artist Marina Blanca (*1953 in Hamburg) lives in Vienna and focuses primarily on working with the materials glass and bronze. Her artistic oeuvre includes sculptures and portraits that have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Austria, Germany, and internationally."
